Beauty: Recent Favorites

Ich muss ja zugeben, dass dieses ganze Beauty-Ding bis vor allzu langer Zeit ja gar nicht so unbedingt meins war. Eyeliner, Wimperntusche und Augenbrauen ausgefüllt- das war´s dann auch schon. Ab und zu kam noch etwas dezenter Lidschatten dazu und noch seltener etwas Farbe auf die Lippen. Vom Beauty-Guru bin ich immer noch weit entfernt, aber ich wage mich nun über den Tellerrand hinaus zu etwas Lippenstift und "richtigem" Augenmakeup. Was ich so für mich entdeckt habe in letzter Zeit? Ein Parfum, Nagellack, einen Lippenstift in Nude und eine Lidschattenpalette, die seither (fast) jeden Tag im Einsatz ist.

I have to admit, that this entire beauty-thing hasn´t really been my thing until some months ago. Eyeliner, mascara and filling out my eyebrows- so much about my daily routine. From time to time, I used some eyeshadows and on even rarer occasions you could spot some color on my lips. I am still far away from being a beauty-guru, but I am stepping out of my comfort zone to lipstick and some eyemake-up. What did I like during the last months? A parfume, nailpolish, a nude lipstick and an eyeshadowpalette, that I use almost on a daily basis. 




Catrice Absolut Nude Eyeshadow Palette:
Für mein tägliches Augenmakeup habe ich mir vor einigen Monaten diese kleine, aber feine Palette von Catrice zugelegt. Lange Zeit habe ich ja, wie im letzten Beauty-Post erwähnt, nur einen Applikator mit einer Farbe gehabt und das wurde mit mit der Zeit etwas einseitig. Vor allem verwende ich, wie man mehr oder weniger sieht, die ersten drei Farben von links. Die erste als Highlighter im inneren Augenwinkel, die zweite Farbe auf dem gesamten Lid und die dritte in der Augenfalte. So einfach geht´s.

For my daily make-up, I got myself this eyeshadow palette from Catrice. For a long time, I´ve been using an applicator with a single eyeshadow shade, which got a little monotonous after some time. I especially use the first three shades from the left. The first one as a highlighter in the inner corner of my eye, the second one on my lid and the third shade in my crease. As simple as that.


 Essie-Bahama Mama and P2- Eternal: 
Was Nagellacke angeht, bin ich etwas experimentierfreudiger als bei meinem Gesichtsmakeup. In letzter Zeit habe ich super gerne Bahama Mama auf meinen Nägeln getragen und zur Abwechslung wurde es auch mal etwas dunkler. Lange fand ich schwarze Nägel zu dunkel für mich, aber wenn sie gepflegt sind, können sie auch richtig edel aussehen.

Now, nailpolishes are a totally different game! I like to try out loads of new colors, however, I often stick with the same ones. During the last months, I loved wearing Bahama Mama as a classic dark shade of red and I also tried out black nailpolish! Defenitely a first for me, but I feel like it can look  really elegant when done nice and neat. 


Giorgio Armani Sì Eau de Parfum:
Im Düfte beschreiben bin ich echt eine Niete, aber ich habe noch nie so viele Komplimente bekommen, wie für dieses Parfum. Zarte Rose trifft auf fruchtige Johannisbeere und Mandarine und lässt den Duft sehr frisch wirken (um ehrlich zu sein: das musste ich gerade googlen, oopsie!).

I am really not the person to describe scents, but I know that I have never gotten so many compliments on something than for this parfume. Tender rose meets deep blackcurrant nectar and creates a very fresh scent ( to be honest: I just had to google this, oopsie!). 


Astor Soft Sensation Lipcolor Butter Matte Elegant Nude:
Auf diesen Lippenstift bin ich durch die liebe Yasmin von Inlovewith gestoßen. Die Farbe ist perfekt für jeden Tag, um etwas Farbe auf den Lippen zu haben und etwas frischer auszusehen. Super einfach aufzutragen und sehr angenehm auf den Lippen- like!

I came across this lipstick through the lovely Yasmin from Inlovewith. The color is perfect for everyday to have some color on the lips. It is very easy to apply and also pleasing on the lips- like!
