OUTFIT: HOW TO WEAR BLACK IN SUMMER?

If you´re anything like me, you like wearing black all year around. 

Now, I am not someone to be seen in black on black on black day after day - I usually like to spice things up somehow for example with colorful accessoires, a colorful jacket or scarf. While black defenitely isn´t the most summery colors out there, they say "black is beautiful"  - which should also be true in the middle of summer, right? In my opinion, it simply depends on the right combination of materials and accessoires to create a summery look!

One of my go-to combinations is pairing my black skinny jeans with a white tee and adding my blush pink or this red bag with it. They immediately make the outfit more friendly and summery! In general, for adding some color to your outfits and wardrobe, going for a colorful bag is almost foolproof!

In order for the look not to look too dark and like you´ve just been to a funeral, add some lighter colors like white or light grey. I have quite a large collection of white shoes like my converse or my Toms crochet espadrilles, so pairing these with black jeans and a white tee also helps to make the outfit more summery and light!

Adding some flowers or floral patterns always helps! In general, flowers always make me happy - especially seeing them in my workspace - but adding some floral patterns to an outfit simply screams summer! But of course, flowers aren´t the only summer pattern out there. Maybe go for stripes (a all-year-arounder) in a summery color like bright red or light pink.
