5 HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

With the end of September, the end of my semester break is also close.

In one week, I have to be back at university for my first lecture of my third semester. However, I am leaving again the day after for a short trip to Lisbon with my parents! I am really excited for the trip, because Lisbon has been on my bucket list for ages and finally being able to visit the city is amazing. So you can expect lots of Lisbon content once I am back from vacation.
But now, let's reminisce about September and my 5 highlights of the past month...

GOING TO THE NEW POP FESTIVAL IN BADEN-BADEN
I already dedicated an entire post to my 24 hours in Baden-Baden, but it's defenitely one of my highlights - if not even THE highlight this month. When you grab two of your best girlfriends and head to a concert and a festival, those days are bound to be fun, right? And they were. The whole trainride back, we couldn't stop laughing. Especially when a group of elder guys (read 70 year olds) talked to us on the train and offered us some liquor in return for some gummy bears, we laughed until we had tears in our eyes - such good memories.

GETTING BACK INTO ILLUSTRATING
One love I rediscovered this month is illustrating (you can see two of my illustrations on my Instagram). About 2 weeks ago, the amazing Jennifer of Jenandjennifer liked a couple of my pictures on Instagram, so I clicked on her profile and instantly fell in love with her amazing illustrations. About 2 years ago, when I was still in school and doing Art A-levels, I was really into fashion illustrations, so I am really happy that Jennifer brought this love back to me. I've been having so much fun illustrating streetstyle pictures and I am trying to figure out how to incorporate them into the blog as well.

LAUNCHING MY FIRST PRINT COLLECTION
A really exciting thing has happened right at the beginning of this month: I launched my first print collection which is available on etsy. I loved creating the prints, trying out something different and now I cannot wait to hang up my favorites in my room in Pforzheim once I get back there in two weeks time.

SPENDING LOTS OF TIME WITH MY FRIENDS
Another thing I really enjoyed in the past month was spending some time with my friends at home. Since moving to Pforzheim last year, I only get to see my friends at home once a month. So I tried to make use of my summer break which I am spending entirely at home at my parent's to spend quality time with them - including going to a concert, going shopping or meeting for brunch. Having great conversations with the people that know you the best (and longest) was/is amazing.

GETTING TICKETS FOR THE IMAGINE DRAGONS CONCERT
Most of the people who know me personally, are familiar with my love for the band Imagine Dragons! I've been a fan since listening to their first hit "It's time" back in early 2013 and even went to their concert in 2013 - my first concert ever! I wasn't a big fan of their second album, because they changed their sound, but their third album (which came out just a day after my birthday) is right up my street again. Booked my tickets for their concert next February and I am so excited to see them again!
